Food Resources for Families

As a service to our community families, the South Butler County School District is providing information on resources for families experiencing food insecurity. 
 
Produce to People provides individuals and families with 30 to 50 pounds of food consisting mostly of fresh produce. SNAP provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of needy families so they can purchase healthy food and move towards self-sufficiency.  To apply to to see if you are eligible, click on the link below.
 
Urban League provides application assistance for those in need in signing-up for SNAP (food stamps) or LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program).
