Hello! My name is Mrs. Gleim! (formerly Miss Allison). I am the school counselor assigned to students in grades 10-12 with last names that range from L to Z. I worked in the district as a substitute during the 2016-2017 school year, and have been at Knoch full time since the 17-18 school year! I am so excited to begin another school year as a Knoch Knight! I received my Bachelor's in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Pittsburgh. I then received my Master's of Education in School Counseling at Duquesne University.

What does my School Counselor do?
I work to help all students overcome any barriers to their learning. Sometimes that means we work on academics, sometimes it means we look at the personal-social side of things. I also help students orient themselves towards a successful career path! You will get to know me by way of individual meetings, classroom lessons, and just from seeing me around in the halls! The counselor's office is a great place to come for all sorts of reasons - not just to go to college! I am here to help you figure out an appropriate path for you during and after high school, and to help you prepare for that path. I will also help you with anything that might get in the way! Whether you're having a bad day, concerned about a friend, exploring college/career options, or just want to chat, my door is always open.
