The Knoch Cross Country Teams competed yesterday at the TSTCA Cross Country Championships at White Oak Park. This was the team's final race before the WPIAL Championships next Wednesday, October 28th. The Girls' Team finished runner up taking home the second place team trophy. Medaling for the Knights were Elyse Chess in 8th place overall (20:47), Emma Haugh in 12th place overall (21:12) and Yumiko Kuo in 15th place overall (21:31). Rounding out the Knights' performances were Jaydon Crawford (23:08) and Grace Bogacz (24:16).
The Boys' Cross Country Team finished fourth in the team standings. Medaling for the Knights were Mike Formica in 3rd place overall (16:26) and Daniel Deal in 17th place overall (17:36). Rounding out the Knights' performances were Austen Haugh (18:17), Michael Stull (18:39), Ethan Wymer (18:45), Eli Ruediger (18:52), Evan Chess (19:05), Gavin Haugh (19:14) and Sheldon Deal (19:54).
The Knights are back in action next week at White Oak Park for the WPIAL Championships.
